(JNS.org) Some 500 healthcare experts and entrepreneurs from more than 20 countries will convene in Jerusalem and in other cities across the Jewish state next month for the mHealth Israel Conference.

A social media-based community of 4,200 members, mHealth Israel enables Israeli start-ups and healthcare market leaders around the world to share innovations and best practices in their field.

The keynote program of the conference, to be held Sept. 9-14, takes place Sept. 14 at the Jerusalem Cinematheque.

The Israel-Europe R&D Directorate, in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network, organized the mHealth event. The Jerusalem portion of the conference, coordinated by the Jerusalem Conventions & Visitors Bureau and BioJerusalem, operates under the Jerusalem Development Authority (JDA).

Attendees will have the opportunity to hold one-on-one meetings with local experts during a session in Jerusalem that aims to provide a simple platform for fostering collaboration.

“Our vibrant city boasts not only a wonderful destination for conferences—with so much culture, history, culinary delights, and more to enjoy—but also a thriving innovation ecosystem, able to contribute tremendously to any international conference looking to explore the latest developments in their field,” said Ilanit Melchior, director of tourism for the JDA.
