BREAKING: Jewish Man Stabbed by FedEx Driver in NYC

A FedEx worker stabbed a 28-year-old Jewish man multiple times near West 33rd Street and Fifth Avenue in New York City just after 1:30 p.m. on Monday, according to police.

The Jewish man, identified as Jack Gindi was stabbed multiple times in the back by the FedEx employee and was soon after rushed to Bellevue Hospital and taken into surgery for his injuries.

The suspect has been identified as 22-year-old Tyquan Bailey. The FedEx worker was taken into custody a short time after the incident, and arrived at the precinct sporting his uniform.

"We were shocked to learn about the incident in Manhattan today, and our thoughts go out to the individual who was injured,” a FedEx spokesperson said in a statement. “We are cooperating fully with investigating authorities at this time."
