The IDF on Tuesday morning reportedly arrested Suhaib Nassar Jarrar, the brother of Palestinian terrorist Ahmad Nassar Jarrar, who is suspected of masterminding the drive-by shooting terror attack that killed Rabbi Raziel Shevach of the Havat Gilad settlement earlier this month.Ahmad is suspected to have evaded arrest last week when the IDF carried out a manhunt in the Palestinian-controlled city of Jenin to apprehend the terror suspects, Palestinian media reported. One suspect was killed in a shootout with IDF troops during the raid and two IDF soldiers were injured. Wissam Assam Jarrar, another relative of the terrorist, was purportedly arrested by Israeli security forces in Jenin.

Israeli officials have not confirmed the arrests due to a gag order preventing publication of information regarding the case. The IDF did state, however, that eight Palestinian terror suspects had been arrested in raids throughout Judea and Samaria this week.

Shevach, 35, was a medical first-responder and teacher. He was survived by his wife and six children.
