(JNS) The IDF has denied reports of an alleged Israeli drone strike that killed two Palestinian terrorists in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip on Tuesday afternoon.

“Contrary to Palestinian reports earlier today, the IDF did not attack in the northern Gaza Strip,” the military said in a statement.

Shortly before the IDF statement, Palestinian media reported that two terrorists, identified as Hussein Ghazi Hussein Nasrallah and Mustafa Sultan, were killed in a drone strike while riding a motorcycle.

The Palestinian news agency Ma’an reported that the alleged strike occurred in the village of Umm al-Nasser in northern Gaza and that the two men were members of the Islamic Jihad terror group.

Reports of the alleged Israeli drone strike followed retaliatory IDF strikes launched against Hamas positions in Gaza on Monday night, after several rockets were launched from the territory at the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon.
