(JNS) An IDF soldier was in critical condition on Thursday after a Palestinian threw a heavy object at his head.

He was taken to Jerusalem’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center after troops attempting to arrest terror suspects in the Palestinian Authority-controlled al-Amari refugee camp north of Ramallah came under attack, at which time a large rock or cinder block was hurled at the soldiers.

The incident was censored by the military until his family could be notified several hours later.
