(JNS.org) At least 22 people were killed and as many as 59 were injured Monday in a suicide bombing during an Ariana Grande concert in the U.K.’s Manchester Arena. 

A massive explosion ripped through the foyer of the concert venue towards the end of the pop star’s performance, causing concertgoers to flee in panic. Manchester police confirmed that several children were among the victims in the U.K.’s deadliest terror attack in a decade.  

The Islamic State terror group released a video claiming responsibility for the attack and warning, “This is just the beginning.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that Israel “strongly condemns last night’s awful terrorist attack in Manchester….Terrorism is a global threat and the enlightened countries must work together to defeat it everywhere.”

Israeli Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan likened the Manchester attack to Palestinian terror attacks in Israel and called on world leaders to unite in the fight against terror.  

“Terror is terror, in Jerusalem, Paris or as we unfortunately see again, this time in Manchester,” Erdan wrote on Facebook. 

During a press conference following a meeting with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, President Donald Trump extended his “deepest condolences” to the Manchester attack victims.

“So many young, beautiful innocent people living and enjoying their lives murdered by evil losers in life,” said Trump.
