New App to Help Pro-Israel Activists Streamline Efforts

(JNS.org) A first-of-its-kind app has been launched to help pro-Israel activists streamline efforts to defend and promote the Jewish state across the world.

The Act.IL app—developed by the Israeli-American Council (IAC), Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (IDC) and Maccabee Task Force—directs users to pro-Israel tasks that they can perform, then rewards them based on the performance of the tasks. These rewards, which are based on points collected by the users, are converted into prizes and compiled into global rankings.

“Act.IL offers a simple and scalable solution that will strengthen and unify the pro-Israel community worldwide, fight BDS, and combat anti-Semitism,” said Shoham Nicolet, the IAC’s CEO. “Using cutting-edge technology, we are interconnecting online and offline pro-Israel communities all across the U.S. This platform amplifies the impact of each individual activist to create a powerful pro-Israel network nationwide.”
