Quinoa Crust Pizza

When you just need pizza, but don't want to deal with the unwanted carbs this recipe is the perfect way to go! 

While quinoa still contains carbs, it is also considered a super food and has so many benefits!

Here is the recipe: 

3/4 cup uncooked quinoa

1/4 cup water

1 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt 

Directions:

Take the raw quinoa and soak in water overnight, after its been soaked drain the water.

Add the quinoa to the food processor with the 1/4 of water, baking powder, and salt.

Pour it onto a non stick round baking pan and place in the over on 350 for 15-20 mins.

After its done, add your favorite toppings.

I started with natural tomato sauce, brussel sprouts, eggplant, and fresh basil.

Another option is to top it off with fresh mozzarella cheese and broil in oven for 1-2 minutes. 

Serve and enjoy!
